Stephan Jacobs and Metaphase are two powerhouse producers that collide for the latest release on Rottun Records called Floss Angeles. “Ben Franks” hits all the key factors that make a well rounded sexy west coast vibe, with its heavy raw bass-lines and melodic keys. While “Medical Grade” features a pulsating bass with its hip-hop glitch vocals, that will be sure to enhance the “high” intensity dance crowds from coast to coast! This leaves us wondering will there be more collaborations from these two producers and will there be any Rottun Remixes in the near future, we can only hope!

This album was created based off the experience of living in the city of Los Angeles. My sound has developed into its own entity and with my recent collaborations and tour, I have began to capture the essence of what I believe to be a reflection of myself through music.There will be a launch of new merchandise soon that will include T-shirts, hats and signed custom boom boxes from iHome, and signed posters, all keeping this theme.

These desktop and iPhone wallpapers were designed by my talented graphic designer Curtis Lee Scoville, who designs just about every piece of art from the Stephan Jacobs world.

This album art was thought up about a year ago by accident when I was messing around with a design that Curtis made and it looked like a building made from the SJ logos. You can check out that inspiration here. From there Curtis recreating the skyline of SJ style buildings in his own style.

STEPHAN JACOBS DEBUT ALBUM OUT 10/16/12

After countless hours of producing, editing, and mixing, Stephan has finally compiled his debut album of original material. He has been busy touring with Identity Festival and Pretty Lights. During this time he has been creating a soundtrack to his journey, utilizing inspiration he found along the way. This album has been in the works for quite some time and Stephan is really proud to share it with his fans. The album will be self released on October 16th, 2012 and will be available for free download, by donation and for sale on iTunes and all other music retail sites.
